# Local development
|
|
|
|
Full-stack Nuxt 4 development at the repository root. Data defaults to `./data`.
|
|
|
|
## Requirements
|
|
|
|
- Node.js **22**
|
|
- npm **11** (see `packageManager` in `package.json`)
|
|
|
|
## Start
|
|
|
|
```bash
|
|
npm install
|
|
cp .env.example .env # optional
|
|
npm run dev
|
|
```
|
|
|
|
Open `http://localhost:3000/setup` to create the admin account. Data directory defaults to `./data` (`DATA_DIR` overrides).
|
|
|
|
## Common commands
|

| `npm run migrate` | Preview legacy dir migration (`-- --apply` to run) |
|
|
|
|
## Dev-only variables
|
|
|
|

| `DEV_BYPASS_ACCESS` | `true` bypasses login (skips `/setup`; rarely needed) |
|
